Nguyễn Văn Tràng brings research experience in optical wireless communication and LiFi to ERA Lab’s work on governance policy and business.
Nguyễn Văn Tràng researches optical wireless communication, optical networks, optical camera communication, and photonic systems. He earned an undergraduate degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering–Biomedical Engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2013, then completed master’s and doctoral degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Kookmin University, South Korea.
His experience includes research at Kookmin University’s LED Convergence R&D Center and postdoctoral work at the LiFi Research and Development Centre in Scotland. HSB records his IEEE Standards Association voting membership from 2015 to 2018, and its 2025 review reports nine patents granted and three co-edited textbooks/reference books. HSB also notes that he founded HuePress in 2021, focused on IoT, software, and smart-city technologies.
